William C. Bell
President and Chief Executive Officer
William C. Bell became President and Chief Executive Officer of Casey Family Programs on January 1, 2006. Prior to leading the foundation, Mr. Bell provided strategic direction to Casey Family Programs as its Executive Vice President of Child and Family Services. Mr. Bell has nearly 30 years of experience in the human services field. Prior to joining Casey, he served two and a half years as commissioner of the New York City Administration for Children’s Services.

David Berns
Executive Vice President of Child and Family Services
David Berns provides strategic direction to Casey Family Programs’ nine field offices in Arizona, California, Idaho, Texas and Washington and to its Indian Child Welfare (ICW) office in Denver. Prior to joining Casey, Berns served as the director of the Arizona Department of Economic Security.

Joseph Boateng
Chief Investment Officer
Joseph Boateng is the Chief Investment Officer for Casey Family Programs. Before joining Casey Family Programs, Boateng was a member of the Johnson & Johnson Investment Committee, responsible for managing over $17 billion in employee benefit assets worldwide.

Dave Danielson
Chief Financial Officer
Dave Danielson is Chief Financial Officer for the foundation. Prior to joining Casey in 2001, Danielson was an independent consultant to clients that included Fortune 500 and technology companies. He has held senior positions in the banking industry and with Price Waterhouse, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Cari DeSantis
Executive Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications
Cari DeSantis directs Casey Family Programs' work in public policy, research, communications, marketing, and strategic alliances. Prior to joining Casey, DeSantis served two terms as cabinet secretary for the Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth & Their Families. She is the president of the board of directors of the American Public Human Services Association and has chaired its National Policy Council and the Child & Family Services Committee.

Ann Holmes
Executive Vice President of Administration and Chief Program Counsel
Ann Holmes oversees legal and administrative services for the foundation. Holmes, who has practiced law for nearly 20 years, came to Casey with experience in both the private and public sectors. Before joining Casey in 1999, she was a partner at the law firm of Stoel Rives LLP.

David Sanders, Ph.D.
Executive Vice President of Systems Improvement
Dr. David Sanders leads the organization’s systems improvement work unit in its efforts to improve outcomes for children and youth in foster care. Prior to joining Casey Family Programs, Sanders directed all operations for the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), the largest county system in the country, with about 6,000 staff serving approximately 22,000 children in care.
