Dave Danielson oversees financial services and planning and analysis for Casey Family Programs. Casey is the largest national foundation focused exclusively on foster care. The Seattle-based foundation was established in 1966 by U.P.S. founder Jim Casey and currently has an endowment of $2 billion.
Career highlights
Danielson’s career began with nine years at the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse. From senior manager at Price Waterhouse, Danielson worked for ten years for First Interstate Bank and Bank of America as senior officer and corporate treasurer in the internal Finance Groups.
Prior to joining Casey in 2001, Danielson worked as an independent consultant for clients including Boeing, Northwest Broadcasters and several medical imaging technology companies. He also served as interim chief financial officer for the Woodland Park Zoo Society. He graduated from Seattle University, summa cum laude with a degree in business administration, and is a certified public accountant.
