Friends and Families

“The destiny of all of us is, to a large extent, in the keeping of each of us.”—Jim Casey

Good foster care comes out of respectful and creative collaboration.

Collaboration between youth and their foster, kinship, and adoptive families. Between families and caseworkers. Between the child-welfare, educational, health-care, and judicial systems. Between communities, states, tribes, and the federal government. Between the public, private, and philanthropic sectors.

It is our privilege at Casey Family Programs to work directly with youth, families, and alumni of foster care across the nation.

We maintain strong ties to the communities and states in which we operate. We also collaborate extensively with professional colleagues throughout the public sector and with community partners.

We learn from your experiences, your expertise, and your insights. And we welcome the opportunity to share information you can use in your daily activities and ongoing collaborations.

Please join us in exploring the common ground that unites all who care deeply about foster care.
