Casey Family Programs’ Indian Child Welfare team is partnering with urban American Indian communities in their efforts to preserve families and cultures. Specifically, Casey Family Programs supports the Denver Indian Family Resource Center (DIFRC), which assists American Indian children and families in the metropolitan Denver area with child welfare issues. DIFRC is a national model for urban Indian Child Welfare work with tribes and local/state jurisdictions.
