This year's luncheon took place on March 2, 2007 in Seattle. The event attracts 500-600 participants. They include community leaders, early learning experts, parents, caregivers, and child advocates throughout Washington state.
William's speech addressed the need to help parents nurture their children during the critical first five years of their life, when emotional development and preparation for school play a large role in giving children the best opportunity to succeed.

About the foundation
