The first issue of Casey's e-newsletter featured stories about Foster Care Alumni of America, Foster Care Month, and the 40-year legacy of Jim Casey.

With a focus on education, this issue highlighted the Judicial Education Checklist, Tutor Connection, and the Casey Scholars program. 

The third issue profiled six people who are making a difference in foster care: Angela Cryder, Karen Jorgenson, Betsey Rosenbaum, Misty Lou Cook, Jamica Henderson, and Joyce James.

The current issue of Fostering Families, Fostering Change focues on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth and families in foster care.
