In 2005, Casey joined the Norwood Healthy Start Collaborative at Norwood Street Elementary School in Service Planning Area (SPA) 6, the collaborative performed an assessment of the key strengths and needs of the families and children in this area.  
 
Employment and Employability: U.S. Department of Labor Youth Demonstration Project     top ^

Casey Family Programs’ Board of Trustees has established the Ruth Massinga Awards in commemoration of Ruth Massinga’s relentless advocacy on behalf of constituents of the child welfare system, particularly youth in care and alumni.
