By the year 2020, Casey Family Programs aims to reduce the number of children in foster care across the nation by 50 percent. The foundation also aims to improve self-sufficiency for those who remain in the system.
In order to reach these goals, Casey advocates for changes in current financing policies to improve the child welfare system and reinvestments in overall savings to maintain ongoing positive results for children and families.
