About the report

Stories of Prevention in Los Angeles County: DCFS and Community Agencies Join Hands To Support Families and Children is written on behalf of the parents and children who struggle with the day-to-day problems of building stable and nurturing families – and who do not think in terms of silos or “service delivery” or “prevention initiatives.”

This report shows what prevention means to families, community-based organizations, DCFS and the growing community networks across the county.
