Signature report highlights Communities of Hope in Florida and Kentucky
What if communities could tap the strengths of their public, private and community sectors to improve the safety and stability of children and their families? Could they build Communities of Hope that nurture long-lasting change?
At Casey Family Programs, we think the answer is a resounding “yes.” We’re seeing communities come together to rethink how they can keep children safe and provide the bedrock of support that every child needs: a safe, supportive and permanent family.
The Evolution of Hope, Casey Family Programs’ 2017 signature report, showcases two communities — Gainesville, Florida, and Johnson County, Kentucky — that each brought together different resources, perspectives and supports to improve safety for children and families and reduce the need for foster care.
Through video, story and interactive graphics, explore the challenges these communities faced and the unique solutions they crafted to overcome them. Visit casey.org/Hope2017 or download the full report (PDF: 4.7 MB).
