Our Work in Indian Child Welfare

Casey Family Programs works with American Indian and Alaska Native communities to support their efforts to improve the safety and success of children and their families. This two-page document provides an overview of our work with tribal governments and tribal social services. Our child welfare initiative agreements are helping to implement child welfare strategies prioritized by the tribes. The agreements honor tribal sovereignty and support nation-building efforts, help build partnerships with the broader child welfare profession and assist in compliance with the Indian Child Welfare Act.
